She is used to controlling herself in order to survive. Her mechanics reflect the eternal struggle between restraint and inevitable breakdown. 🎵 Melodies and Resonance Melodies : Playing these cards not only deals damage or grants block, but also accumulates Notes . However, as soon as you play a non-Melody card, the accumulated harmony collapses: Notes are consumed, and the built-up Resonance triggers, unleashing the stored energy. Core Idea: Construct your musical phrases. The longer you sustain a melody, the stronger the melodies themselves become, and the more powerful the final chord will be when you decide to break it. 😡 Four Faces of Emptiness Maya can shift her mood, each providing a powerful but contradictory effect that changes the rules of the game: • Restraint: Control and accumulation. Aggression is dulled, but resources flow abundantly. • Anger: Pure power. A high-risk style where strikes are devastating, but the pain of counterattacks is unbearable. • Sadness: Impenetrable defense. You become a fortress, slowing everything around you, including your own gameplay. • Joy: Dangerous euphoria. Speed and agility, paid for with exhaustion. Mood cards are incredibly powerful but require you to display the matching emotion. If you play an Anger card while in Sadness, it wounds Maya herself, draining her life. 🍉 Endless Hunger and Watermelon Salvation Maya's Satiety meter inexorably decreases each turn. Maintain it — to heal. Let the meter run empty — and you will experience an all-consuming Hunger that is not so easy to satisfy. The main source of satiety in her arsenal is — watermelons . Juicy, red, they perfectly remedy malnutrition. In extreme cases, you can get by with Takoyaki. 🕰️ Echoes of the Past Maya is the only one who remembers. Her arsenal includes cards that play with time: reverting to a state from several turns ago, preserving and recovering already used cards. This is not just control — it is a denial of death and destruction, which she has witnessed millions of times. "She doesn't just fight. She waits it out.
