Penance Character Mod "This time, I will hand down a fair verdict." This mod brings the Siracusan judge, Penance , from "Arknights" into the Spire. Unlike traditional defenders, Penance does not rely on fragile Block. Instead, she constructs absolute defense through Barrier and makes attackers pay the price via Judgement . Break the conventional logic of "healing at Rest Sites" and experience the path of law through suffering. This mod is a fan-made passion project. Please forgive me if some cards are slightly overpowered. Content Statistics As of the current version, this mod includes: • New Cards: A total of 85 new cards, including 29 Attacks, 31 Skills, 15 Powers, and 10 Derivative/Curse cards. • New Relics: A total of 13 new relics, including 10 exclusive to Penance and 3 general relics. • New Events: A total of 5 new events, including 1 Act 1 event, 3 Act 2 events, and 1 Act 3 event. • New Potions: A total of 3 new potions, including 2 exclusive to Penance and 1 general potion. Core Mechanics • Barrier: A special defensive value. Barrier does not disappear at the end of your turn. • Judgement: When Barrier takes damage from an enemy, deal damage to the attacker equal to your Judgement stacks. • Thorn Aura: At the end of your turn, deal damage to all enemies equal to your Thorn Aura stacks. • Wolves' Curse: A special curse brought by the wolves of Siracusa. They possess powerful effects but also bring chaos. Special Disclaimer Regarding Art Assets This mod contains 85 cards and uses a large number of fan arts from Pixiv/Twitter/Internet. No special modifications. • Condemnation: A challenging experience. Decreases Max HP (to 40) and upgrades Starting Relic. • Tribulation: An extremely difficult challenge. Based on , values of most cards are adjusted. Starting Relic [The Thorny Road That Continues] Upgrade: In Condemnation difficulty and above, you start combat with Barrier equal to 30% of your Max HP. Added effect: Whenever you kill a non-Minion enemy, store Barrier equal to 5% of your Max HP. v1.2.0 Update: Preset System This update introduces the brand new Preset System. You can now choose from various starting decks and relic combinations at the character select screen. Whether you want a rigorous defensive build or a pure meme run, this system has you covered.
