Introduction: The bell tolls, it's time for the eighth and last spire modding anniversary mod! 2026/01/18 marks the eighth year of Mod the Spire. The modding community over on the official discord has come together again to make something cool for everyone for one last time (for StS1 at least). Description: Quests are now available in the Spire! When you start a run and when visiting shops you can interact with the quest board to pick up to 2 of the 3 shown quests. These quests range from simple goals such as abstaining from potion usage to transforming your whole run into a Balatro-like experience. Lots of care has been taken to give a wide variety of quests that cover a big spectrum of decision complexity to allow quests for every playstyle. As with every year, this should be a fresh addition to the spire that hasn't existed before and can be played together with all our previous projects. It's simple, but works all the better for it. Challenging yourself is only half the fun however, of course every quest rewards you if you manage to fulfill it, see what interesting quest rewards await! If you're a completionist you can head over to the statistics page in the main menu and look at the Quest Log which allows you to see some general statistics and quest specific completion rates. You can also disable quests from spawning here in case you don't jive with specific ones. Will you manage to find and complete all 69+ quests? If you find bugs, please use the bug reports thread to report them, same with the crash reports as explained below: PLEASE SUBMIT A CRASHLOG IF YOU REPORT A CRASH You can find the crashlog in \Steam\steamapps\common\SlayTheSpire\sendToDevs\logs\SlayTheSpire.log if you haven't restarted the game after the crash. The most important bit is most likely going to be at the very end, it'll look something like this 20:43:36.118 ERROR core.CardCrawlGame> Exception caught java.lang.NullPointerException: null ...
