Inspired by excellent mods like StudySpire and Slay the Poetry . ✨ Features Now you can learn any language in the Spire! 1. 📂 Anki Deck (.apkg) Support Download massive decks directly from AnkiWeb Shared Decks (TOEFL, IELTS, Japanese, German, etc.). Just drop them into the mod folder SlayTheSpire\mods\WordSpire and start learning! 2. 🔊 Full Audio Support Listen while climbing the tower! The mod supports audio playback in Anki cards with a built-in Replay Button . 3. ⬇️ In-game Download Center Built-in Download Center containing verified high-quality decks (like JLPT 10k with audio). Click to download, auto-configure, and enjoy! Other features: • 🔥 Hot Reload : Add decks without restarting the game. • 🎮 Controller Support : Works with Mouse & Keyboard and Controller. 🚀 Advanced Features • Multi-Dictionary Mixing : Load multiple dictionaries and control their frequency via Weights . • Custom Mapping : Freely specify which field in your Anki card is the "Question", "Answer", or "Sound". • Example: For Japanese, set "Kana (Q) -> Kanji (A)" or reverse it. • JSON Support : Supports custom dictionaries in .json format. 🤝 Contribute We welcome any contribution! • 💻 Code : Fix bugs or add features. • 📦 Decks : Help adapt more Anki decks. • 📢 Reviews : Found a good deck? I'll add verified ones to the Download Center. 📖 How to Play Step 1: Add Dictionary Method A: Via Download Center (Easy) Main Menu -> Mods -> WordSpire -> Config -> Page 2 -> Click Download Center -> Select & Download. Method B: Manually Add Files Put your `.apkg` file into SlayTheSpire/mods/WordSpire/ , then click Refresh Files in the Config menu. Step 2: Configure Mapping (Manual Only) In the Config menu, click Config Mapping . Check the fields for Question, Answer, and Sound, then Save. Step 3: Start Game Select the starter relic [Book of Foreign Words] at Neow. Play & Quiz : Playing a card triggers a word quiz. Correct answers boost your Attack/Block multipliers! Review : Right-click the relic to review mistakes. Perfect reviews reward potions. 📚 Dictionary Sources Built-in : CET4/CET6 (from CET46 mod), JLPT (from 5mdld). Recommended : JLPT-10k by @5mdld in the Download Center (High quality with audio!). 🌍 Localization & Plans Supports Simplified Chinese and English UI. (Word definitions depend on the deck language).
