"Give strong drink to the one who is perishing, and potions to those in bitter distress; Let them drink and forget their losing run and remember their misplays no more." - Proverbs 31:6-7 Adds the Beverage of the Gods to Slay the Spire, along with all of its components and its final combination of Liquid Prion Disease, for a total of 31 new 'potions'. Whenever you end a fight or visit a shop, there's a 15% (configurable) chance that the potion which would've been there is instead replaced with a component of the Drink of the Deities. In addition to having a variety of unique effects, each component is Combinable: when you obtain its corresponding ingredient, the two will automatically merge into a new, more powerful potion. Getting all 16 'tier 1' components to eventually reach the Consumable of the Creator would be near impossible on a regular run. Thus, the mod skews the RNG in the player's favor: If you already have a part of the Celestial Cup, you are guaranteed to get its counterpart the next time a potion reward is replaced. Keep in mind, however, that rarity also plays a factor. In order to get the stronger elements of the Elder's Elixir, you must first get an Uncommon/Rare potion drop and then have those be changed into components. You can configure the chance of a potion being replaced in the mod config options, to anywhere between 0% and 100% - 0% meaning no potion rewards will be replaced, and 100% meaning every single potion reward will be replaced with a piece of the Draught of the Divine. Is this balanced? Probably not. But I thought it was funny and made it purely for that reason.
