This mod adds a new playable character with ~75 unique cards 10 Relics 3 potions All cards and relics feature self-drawn artworks as well as the character select screen campfire pose heart-kill screen Custom VFX Custom Sprite animations The Marked is based on Alyssa Ratsavong from the German (currently unreleased and unnamed) fantasy novel series by Julia Karamell (https://juliakaramell.jimdofree.com/bücher/die-verfluchten-arbeitstitel-band-1/). This character keeps true to the gameplay-feel of the four classes available in the basegame and is designed to challenge the player without overwhelming them with a multitide of crazy effects. The cards and relics are unique, but simple. There are 4 overarching deck-archetypes baked into the card and relic pool: - Summoning: Summoning and empowering a single attack card (Alyssa's Sword) during combat, increasing it's attack and adding bonus effects to it. - Banish: A combination of the Silent's Poison and the Watcher's Mantra. Banish is applied to an enemy, but only takes effect once it reaches 10, resulting in huge burst of damage. - Charge: Increases the damage of the next attack, but is also used as a resource for some other cards. Some cards let you preserve your Charge, allowing you to build it up higher and higher. - Self-Debuff: Several of the Marked's cards revolve around applying debuffs to herself for an increasd payoff. Others let you turn these debuffs into positive effects. Similar vibe to Ironclad's Status-Card-decks.
