Strength Path, added in v0.9.0, is the most complete route, with training/unsealing, companion cards, and beast phantom mechanics fully implemented. It features an independent progression system built around Gu worms, cultivation ranks, primeval essence, immortal essence, Gu upgrading, fusion, and immortal killer moves. Fang Yuan and his Gu worms can progress from Rank 1 to Rank 9. If you like the original Reverend Insanity mod for the first game, give this a try: Reverend Insanity (Slay the Spire 1) Main Features • New playable character: Fang Yuan • Rank 1–9 progression • Dedicated Gu storage and recovery piles • Primeval essence and immortal essence • Gu upgrading, fusion, and killer-move derivation • Li Dao (Strength), Light, Earth, and Blood Path content • Simplified Chinese and English localization • Basic save-state, QuickSL, and multiplayer compatibility Development Status Li Dao (Strength Path) is currently the most complete route and is recommended for a first playthrough; Light, Earth, Blood, and other paths remain under development. Rank 9 is currently the highest implemented cultivation level. Tribulations and Rank 10 content are not yet available. This project is independently developed by a university student. Current development focuses on gameplay systems, programming, compatibility fixes, localization, and basic visual assets. Due to limited time and production resources, full character combat animations are not planned in the near future. Artists, animators, programmers, translators, testers, documentation contributors, and anyone interested in collaborating are welcome to get in touch through Steam Workshop comments or GitHub.
