1. Environment This mod does not depend on any base mod. This mod supports the Public Beta 110 version and the Default 107 version. In theory, as long as there are no major API updates or card changes, this mod should automatically adapt to new versions without any modification. 2. 15 Languages Supported Asia: Simplified Chinese / Traditional Chinese / Japanese / Korean / Thai / Turkish Europe & the Americas: English / Portuguese (Brazil) / Spanish (Latin America) / Spanish / French / Russian / German / Italian / Polish The text tags, in alphabetical order, are: deu, eng, esp, fra, ita, jpn, kor, pol, ptb, rus, spa, tha, tur, zhs, zht. All texts are taken from Slay the Spire 1, with only simple formatting adjustments; there may be minor errors. 3. Effects Replaces the effect, card name, card art, and card text of the game's "Calculated Gamble" card with those of the "Calculated Gamble" card from Slay the Spire 1. In the vanilla game, upgrading Calculated Gamble grants "Retain", and the card is still exhausted when played; this mod changes it to the Slay the Spire 1 upgrade effect: the card is no longer exhausted after being upgraded. This mod works by modifying the original "Calculated Gamble" card directly, rather than creating a new card and disabling the old one. This mod affects save files: while the mod is enabled, all "Calculated Gamble" cards in historical records will be replaced with the Slay the Spire 1 style; disabling the mod restores the original state. 4. Impact (Based on My Understanding of the Game) In the vanilla game at all difficulties, in most runs, for The Silent, this mod's Calculated Gamble is significantly stronger than the original, and may even fundamentally change the way the character is played. For other characters, in most runs, StS1's Calculated Gamble is slightly stronger than the StS2 original. 5. Compatibility & Bugs This mod is written with minimal dependencies, so under normal circumstances it is compatible with most mods and unlikely to break as the game version changes. However, compatibility is not guaranteed with pirated copies, modified versions, mobile versions, outdated versions, niche mods, or secondary mods. 6.
