Bring Ardyn Izunia from Final Fantasy XV into Slay the Spire 2 as a fully animated, high-risk tank built around sacrifice, grudges, forbidden bargains, and refusing to stay dead. Protect your allies with Redirect, willingly taking their damage and turning lost HP into Grudge against your enemies. Build Scourge throughout combat, then decide whether to spend it on powerful attacks, defense, healing, and resource payoffs—or preserve it to enter Daemon Ardyn with more health. Cards with Reanimate return with entirely new effects after being exhausted, allowing Ardyn to build decks around cards that change roles and grow more dangerous after death. Make powerful Daemonic Bargains for immediate advantages, then satisfy their conditions before their debts come due. When Human Ardyn suffers a lethal blow, his immortality finally gives way to the Starscourge. He transforms into Daemon Ardyn, replacing his Human deck with a randomized 15-card Daemon deck and entering with more HP based on the Scourge you chose not to spend. At Rest Sites, Ardyn gains access to an entirely unique progression system for his second life. Use Commune with the Scourge to permanently upgrade Daemon cards for the run, or choose Rewrite Fate to permanently add powerful new properties to individual Daemon cards before you ever transform.
