Please report anything you hit in the comments or the Discord — screenshots and 'what you did right before' make fixes fast. • YOU MUST BE ON THE SLAY THE SPIRE 2 BETA BRANCH. Right-click Slay the Spire 2 → Properties → Betas → select the beta/modded branch. The mod will NOT load on the default branch. • YOU MUST HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF BASELIB (by Alchyr, here on the Workshop). Subscribe and keep it updated — an outdated BaseLib will fail to load this mod. The White Mage Nothing kind is ever wasted. A complete custom character for Slay the Spire 2, built on Final Fantasy's White Mage — and the first character in this series designed for CO-OP FIRST. She is a true healer: in multiplayer lobbies she can aim her heals and shields at any player (herself included), and her whole kit grows stronger the more she tends the party. The Flip mechanic (unique to this character) Thirty-eight of her cards have TWO FACES: a SOLO face that cares for herself, and a CO-OP face that cares for the party. Flip a card — in the hand, at card rewards, even in the shop — and all your copies turn over together. In multiplayer, flips are fully synchronized network actions, so every player's game agrees on exactly what your cards do. One deck, two characters' worth of play patterns. How to flip: • Mouse — click the round flip icon in the card's upper-right corner. • Keyboard — hover the card and press Enter. • Controller — focus the card and press the Proceed / End Turn button (Y on a default Xbox layout — whatever glyph your layout shows for End Turn). With a card focused it only flips; it will never end your turn. The icon's ring shows the active face at a glance: silver = SOLO face up, gold = CO-OP face up. Flips cost nothing, are visible to everyone in the lobby, and persist through saves. Casting a co-op face on yourself uses the solo face's effect. How she plays • The Lily garden. Bloom cards grow Lilies (up to 3); Afflatus cards spend them. Every Lily spent feeds the Blood Lily — at 3 fed, AFFLATUS MISERY blooms into your hand: 0 cost, massive damage to everything. Mercy grows the nuke. • Overheal is never wasted. Healing past full converts to Block, one for one — for you AND for allies you heal. Her defense is an engine, not an apology. • Dia. Holy damage-over-time that ticks enemies down while the garden grows. • True protection. Aquaveil halves hits, Aegis blunts them, Rescue negates a blow meant for an ally, Raise Ward drags the fallen back from lethal. She decides what damage is allowed to happen. • The long game. Regen, Asylum, Sanctuary, Temperance, Seraphism — heal-over-time zones, compounding blessings, and a transformation finisher for the deepest garden decks. Contents • 80 cards across five design waves — 38 of them dual-faced with the Flip mechanic • The Lily Crook engine relic plus reward relics and potions • Custom HUD: Lily and Blood Lily tracking, overheal readout, and live dual-face card text • FF1 20th Anniversary White Mage sprite with full animation, animated character-select background, character-specific Architect dialogue, merchant and campfire scenes • Full multiplayer support — ally targeting, synced flips, party healing with a per-ally overheal valve Known issues (first release) • Don't update or uninstall the mod mid-run; finish or abandon White Mage runs first. • Co-op is this character's centerpiece and got a full lobby playtest, but more multiplayer eyes are exactly what she needs — reports welcome in the Discord. Character-select background: original AI-generated art. ⚔️ More Final Fantasy characters on the Workshop • The Black Mage — NEW: the Elemental Gauge, spells that resolve later and hit harder, and Words of Power that grow as you speak them. • The Red Mage — cast from three schools to build chains into Meteor and Holy, with a moogle familiar and Dualcast. • The Blue Mage — ~185 cards, and you learn monsters' abilities by SURVIVING them. • The Machinist — a gunner-engineer with Heat and Battery gauges, deployable machines, and a Workbench of overtuned Tools. • The Summoner — fifteen fully animated eidolons that fight beside you as real allies. The White Mage and Black Mage make natural co-op partners — one tends the garden, the other burns it all down.
