Hi everyone! I’m the creator of the Hina Kagiyama mod for Slay the Spire 1, and now the Slay the Spire 2 version has also been released! There are currently two Hina Kagiyama mods for Slay the Spire 2, and I warmly encourage everyone to check out the mod created by the other author as well. This mod continues to build around Slay the Spire 2’s native Doom, Thorns, and Curse mechanics. None of the cards come with walls of text, and their mechanics are simple and easy to understand. The balance target is for the character to be slightly stronger than the five characters in the base game. For most players, after a few runs, the mod should provide plenty of interesting decisions while still allowing them to clear A10 relatively comfortably. For players who enjoy different difficulty modifiers, this mod is also well suited to some high-difficulty modded challenges. For example, Hina’s starting relic adds a Misfortune Transfer to your Hand. Misfortune Transfer is a unique token card that allows you to transfer your debuffs to an enemy. Learning how to use this card effectively is one of the keys to mastering the character. Hina also has many cards that apply debuffs to herself in exchange for powerful rewards, adding a meaningful layer of risk-and-reward strategy to her gameplay. The character’s Spine artwork was hand-drawn by an artist, while I handled the Spine work myself. Much of the card art was sourced from the internet. Although this mod is completely free, if any of its content infringes upon anyone’s rights, please contact me. I will revise or replace the relevant material immediately. The mod currently supports Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, Russian, German, and Spanish. Most of the translation work was completed with GPT. Due to the limits of my own language abilities, I was only able to spot-check and review the Chinese and English versions. If you encounter any translation issues, please leave a message in the Discussions section. Special thanks also go to the player Shion_KBC for reviewing and polishing the Japanese translation. The Japanese localization should now be in quite good shape! Players in China are welcome to join the Slay the Spire 1 & 2 Hina Kagiyama mod discussion group, group ID 516023905.
