The Chronian – Master of Time Flow and Symbiotic Cultivation I. Character Overview The Chronian is a scholar who wields the dual forces of Time Flow and Parasitic Cultivation. Her combat style revolves around precise deck manipulation and progressive growth, gradually building an advantage through careful time management. II. Core Mechanics 1. Secondary Draw Pile – The Hidden Current At the start of combat, half of your draw pile is placed into the Secondary Draw Pile, a third pile outside the normal draw-discard cycle. Whenever you shuffle your draw pile, cards from the Secondary Draw Pile are added to the Draw Pile, while cards from the Discard Pile are shuffled into the Secondary Draw Pile, forming a three-pile cycle. 2. Flow – Directed Movement Between Piles Flow is the act of moving cards between the Draw Pile, Discard Pile, and Secondary Draw Pile. With the Current: Moves cards in the order: Draw Pile → Discard Pile → Secondary Draw Pile → Draw Pile. Against the Current: Moves in the reverse direction. 3. Temporal Momentum – Resources from Flow Each With the Current action grants one stack of Current. Every 5 stacks of Current convert into 1 . Each Against the Current action grants one stack of Reverse Current. Every 10 stacks of Reverse Current convert into 1 Bonus Turn. 4. Parasite and Cultivate – Life Manipulation Parasite: At the start of the enemy's turn, they take damage equal to their Parasite stacks, and you heal for a portion of that damage. Cultivate: At the end of your turn, cards with Cultivate return to the Secondary Draw Pile, increase their Cultivate stacks, and apply Parasite to a random enemy. III. Card Archetypes Her card pool is built around three core themes: Flow, Temporal Momentum, and Cultivation.
