Tokiko / The Nameless Book-Reading Youkai Character Mod Introducing Tokiko from *Touhou Project* as a playable character. Although the character does not have an official name, for ease of description, this mod will use the community-given name "Tokiko." This mod will be updated on the beta branch. In the future, once the beta branch is updated, we will no longer maintain compatibility with the public branch (i.e., the stable version). This mod currently primarily supports Chinese, as I do not speak other languages. Localization for other languages is AI-generated. New Content One new character 91+1 new cards 6 new relics 3 new potions Adjustments to the Enchantment mechanic Several character-specific card enchantments Mechanics Introduction Reading : A countdown effect that triggers certain effects after a specified number of turns. This is Tokiko's core mechanic. Since the original work has no clear character setting, this mod adopts the fan interpretation of "using magic from books" as the combat mechanic. The Enchantment mechanics mentioned below also fall under this theme. Enchantment : Tokiko's other core mechanic involves enchanting cards during combat, gradually improving their quality as the battle progresses. Since the vanilla non-stackable enchantments posed significant limitations to this mechanic, this mod adjusts the original enchantment system, making enchantments stackable and recoverable, and allows them to be applied to cards that normally wouldn't accept them. Featherflight : At the end of your turn, deal damage distributed among the lowest-HP enemies. A supplementary damage subsystem, originating from the fact that Tokiko is a bird youkai — keeping the reading elements naturally means keeping the bird elements too (lol). Regarding Multi-Enchantment Since Multi-Enchantment requires patching the enchantment behavior, different mods may not be compatible with each other. When loading multiple mods that patch enchantments, please try to enable Multi-Enchantment on the mod that is placed higher in the load order. You can disable this mod's Multi-Enchantment mechanism, but if this mod is placed higher and takes over enchantment handling, disabling it will not allow other mods' similar patches to take effect. This is somewhat of a vanilla limitation, so this disable option is rather pointless. Art Asset Disclaimer I am unable to create such a large number of character card art and animations myself. The character animations come from Tokiko in *Touhou Drunken Rebellion* , slightly modified with the original author's permission. Some card art assets in this mod come from fan works on Pixiv / the internet. All copyrights belong to the original artists. If you are the original artist and do not wish for your work to be used, please contact me directly. I will unconditionally and immediately replace or remove the image and sincerely apologize to you.
