Penance Character Mod "This time, I will hand down a fair judgment." This mod brings the Syracusan judge Penance from "Arknights" to Slay the Spire 2. Unlike traditional defenders, Penance does not rely on fragile Block. Instead, she builds an absolute defense through Barrier , and makes attackers pay the price through Judgment . Break the conventional logic of "resting to heal," and experience a path of law forged through suffering. This mod is a product of the author's overflowing love for the character. Please forgive any overpowered elements. Mod Content Statistics As of the current version, this mod includes: • New Cards: A total of 98 new cards, including 29 Attacks, 40 Skills, 19 Powers, and 10 derivative Curses or other cards. • New Relics: A total of 13 new relics, including 10 Penance-exclusive relics and 3 generic relics. • New Events: A total of 5 new events, including 1 Act 1 event, 3 Act 2 events, and 1 Act 3 event. • New Potions: A total of 3 new potions, including 2 Penance-exclusive potions and 1 generic potion. Core Mechanics • Barrier: A special defensive value. Barrier does not expire at the end of your turn. • Judgment: Whenever your Barrier takes damage from an enemy, deal damage equal to your Judgment to the attacker. • Thorn Aura: At the end of your turn, deal damage to ALL enemies equal to your Thorn Aura. • Wolfpack Curse: Special curses brought by the wolves of Syracusa. They possess powerful effects but also bring chaos. Special Statement Regarding Art Assets This mod contains 86 cards and uses a large number of fan art pieces sourced from Pixiv, Twitter, and the internet. Because the image collection spanned a long period, the author failed to properly record all the artists' IDs/sources during the initial stages of development. This is absolutely not meant to be offensive or to steal your hard work! I highly respect every creator! If you recognize the artist of any card art while playing, or if you are the artist yourself: Please let me know in the comments (e.g., "The art for Strike is by @ArtistName"). I promise to add the artist's name to the credits in the very next update! If you are the artist and do not wish for your artwork to be used, please contact me directly. I will unconditionally and immediately replace or remove the image and sincerely apologize to you. This mod is fan-made, completely free, and has no commercial use.
