Downfall II Downfall for Slay the Spire 2 brings the original mod's iconic cast over to STS2 as a reworked and rebalanced character pack! This mod currently features 8 playable characters: • The Hexaghost • The Hermit • The Awakened One • The Automaton • The Champ • The Guardian • The Snecko • The Slime Boss (wip / unfinished legacy STS1 port) • (Work is currently underway on The Collector!) • Downfall is not yet complete! You may encounter placeholder art, missing logic, or bugs. • For multiplayer games, all players must have this mod installed. Save File Warning Modded and unmodded save files are completely separate in Slay the Spire 2. • When you launch the game with mods for the first time, you'll start on a fresh, separate save file. • If you uninstall or remove all mods, your unmodded progress remains completely safe. Note on Game Updates & Maintenance Please keep in mind that this is a hobby project maintained in our free time. • Be respectful to the developers and balancing team. We aren't paid to do this. We volunteer our free time, and we're under no obligation to keep doing it for people who treat us badly. Megacrit releases game updates roughly every second Friday, around 3–4 AM CEST (which is the middle of the night / early morning for those of us in Europe). • Mod fixes rely on BaseLib being updated first before Downfall can be patched. • Posting that the mod broke one minute after an update drops isn't necessary, we're already aware! • Please don't treat us like we're obligated or on call to fix things instantly.
